- The Blood Pressure Association is a registered charity and was established in October 2000 with the aim of making a real difference to the 16 million people affected by high blood pressure in the UK. Our aim at the BPA is to put high blood pressure at the top of everyone's health agenda - from the Government and the media to every adult, particularly those in high-risk groups (for example, over 55s, African-Caribbean and South Asian).
