- Sure we run a business and try to make money, but that's not all we're about. We are also real people who try to help others. We believe that businesses have a responsibility to the community. In Hawaii, this is called "aloha spirit." In such a spirit of aloha, NoniConnection of Hawaii gave away free gallons of Noni juice juice to any hurricane Katrina victim who asked for it. We customarily give away Noni juice to anyone who has fallen on hard times. Last month we helped raise funds for the families of five firefighters who perished in the Esperanza wildfire in California. (Since Jim is a retired firefighter with 25 years of service in the Honolulu Fire Department, those deaths struck a chord with him.) Currently, we are working with the Soldiers' Angels foundation to provide voice-activated laptop computers for disabled veterans. On a more local level, friends and neighbors know we keep a case of Noni juice in our carport. They leave money in the box if they can, but also know it's there for free if they can't afford it. We're not just tooting our own horn. We want you to know that we are here for you if you need us.
