Hello! I am Barb Shelton, and I along with my wonderful husband, Dave, operate a ministry to homeschoolers out of our home in Longview, Washington ~ the real Washington! Dave is the back (and funny) bone of our family and of our business and ministry. Without his hard work, dedication, and servant's heart, our ministry would simply not be. I couldn't even begin to do what I do without him!

We have been married since July 19, 1975 and we've been homeschooling since 1982 – 23 years as of fall of 2005. Our three wonderful children are Sharnessa, 28; Tory (male), 26; and Carlianne, 19. We are also the proud and delighted parents-in-law of two wonderful people: a young man, Samuel Sandén, who married Sharnessa on August 19, 2000, (Sharnessa and Sam's Sharnessa and Sam's Wedding page) and a wonderful young lady named Chrissy who became my daughter (oh yeah, Tory's wife too!) on August 26, 2000. (Tory and Chrissy's Wedding Page) Yes, the two weddings were one week apart! And we even lived to tell about it!

But wait! There's now ONE MORE!!!! Chase David Gustaf Sandén was born to Sharnessa and Sam on August 3, 2005, so Dave and I are now GRANDPARENTS!!!! We have heard that it's nothing but WONDERFUL, and we are now realizing WHY!!!!
