CiteHR was started in May 2004. The motivation to launch such a site was born when the creator - an IT professional (burdened with the job of recruiting some new employees for the startup company he worked for) had to research on certain topics related to HR but couldn't find any help from any of the groups around at that time. Rather than search around for help he decided to help others first by creating a friendly atmosphere for healthy knowledge sharing. With strict moderation and user friendly technology the site quickly became a valuable resource for people where they could share knowledge and learn from each other's experience in the field of human resource management.
