Dear Shell;
We have a problem. We are renovating a house we had rented out. We are replacing the main floor windows. The dealer of the Jeld Wen windows -Home Hardware in Grande Cache Ab..told us to hire a certain person whom they used to install and measure for us. This person made a mistake and ordered 6" windows for 4" walls. The other thing he didn't measure the brick mold properly and only allowed 1" instead of 2".
My question is there any way to reduce the frames down to 4"?
The installer, who measured them, says he can just cut the plastic frames to fit. Is this right.
I would appreciate any help you can give me.

Hi Shell: In a rental house, some candle wax, blood red, got spilled on the side of a new bathtub and on the wall and base board. The tub, I think, is plastic or maybe fiber glass. We've gotten most of the wax off but the red stain remains. No cleaner has been tried yet. Can you suggest one and where its available? Thankyou...I enjoy your show on Sat. mornings. Thanks again.
