BigTalk discussions are editorially moderated multi-user conversations in real time. Questions and comments may be submitted in advance or during the session. Users may also read archived transcripts after the BigTalk event.
Unlike "chats" and "chat rooms" where people can interrupt or shoot from the hip, BigTalk discussions are moderated by experienced producers who screen questions for relevance and content. Appropriate questions and comments are then sent directly to the guest. After previewing the questions, the guest may respond (or not) to any he or she wishes to address.
