- My working career began as I completed my Master of Business Administration at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. I went to work for the General Electric Company on a manufacturing management training program. For 2 years I had various assignments including work on satellites, the space shuttle, and in a New York cast ironfoundry. After this training, I went to KAPL – a design organization for the USDept of Energy which designs nuclear reactors and trains the Navy how to runsubmarines. I spent the majority of my career with this organization relocatingto Ct. and NY to participate in nuclear refuelingsand material management.
