The owners of Welch Point Associates, John and Renie Poole, have a strong background in the theory and implementation of web site design, digital imaging and photography. John's background is in engineering and management from his career with Hewlett-Packard. Renie's background is as a photographer but she has traded her conventional darkroom for the digital darkroom with sophisticated digital imaging software. Both are experienced instructors and teach classes customized to the clients needs.
In addition to the owners, Welch Point Associates enjoys the privilege of working with several associates that share our values and ethics. Each of these associates has expertise in selected areas, such as CGI scripting, Active Server Pages (ASP), database management and interactive web pages. We share work, depending on availability and the technology needed to solve specific problems. As a group, we pride ourselves on delivering web sites that are cross-browser compatible, look good on all screen resolutions and perform reliability.
We particularly like to work interactively with our clients and focus on small businesses and individuals that want a presence on the World Wide Web. We are willing to take time to explain how the web works, the requirements and costs, and what to expect from your site. We can provide whatever training is needed to help you maintain your completed site or we are willing to provide that service for you. Some of our sites are updated and maintained by the client using templates and training we have provided while others are maintained by WPA.
