About Us
The Yukon Workers' Compensation, Health and Safety Board is governed by a board of eight to ten members. There is one neutral chair, one neutral alternate chair, and between four and six members equally representing workers and employers.
The Minister responsible for the Yukon Workers' Compensation Health and Safety Board appoints board members. The Minister consults with stakeholders about these appointments. The board administers two acts: the Workers' Compensation Act and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
The board membership currently includes Chair Craig Tuton, Alternate Chair Phil Dyke, employer representatives Gary Annau and Don Frizzell and worker representatives Michelle Kolla and Barb Evans.
