I followed the link from whois.domaintools.com then ended up on this page [1]which was empty.

I did a search and ended up here [2]which has the appropriate content.

I guess I just didn't know that the urls on aboutus were case sensitive. Is there some way to make the link from domaintools point to the page with the existing article?

Hi Tak, I just discovered that my page was nominated for a feature, and there was a note from ChrisBabeson that you would be in touch with some suggestions for improvement that might earn me an actual feature. Oddly, I never received any notification emails from the AboutUs system, and the nomination was almost a month ago (..oops!)

I would certainly welcome the opportunity to improve and of course to be featured, so please send me your thoughts when you have the time.

edit a missing info BBC show

Can you help me get any further information? Early saturday morning (4/7/07) I believe i heard on kvcr a bbc interview with a man whose name sounded like Bob Randle. Of Scottish and Aborigine Australian parentage; taken from his mother at age 7; he wrote/writes songs and has become well known for his efforts in telling the stories of those who were taken from their "bush" roots. I would have thought it'd be easy to find something - and not even Google Australia; or BBC has gotten me a direct "hit". I am trying to get the interviewers name or the BBC show's name, or some way to read more and hopefully get in touch with this man. All help is appreciated. Thanks, Billy Brady <><><>

I have looked at my webpage again this morning (Spiritfolk.com) and someone called Yasir has hacked my page for the second time and removed all the details, there are also information from my wiki page on other wiki pages too! This seriously needs to be looked at as we have a rogue element messing up wiki pages on this website!

Aww thankyou! :) I think we'll be done in the next hour or so, aside from a few corrections here and there its mostly just checking through that its all laid out nicely, so we're almost done. :) Been involving others in discussing it and its getting some attention :) I think they like the idea of a place they can contribute to that isn't a forum for once. :)

I want to show my comrads our AboutUs.org page, but cannot find it. Thought it had a link on your personal page, but cannot find that either. Also, I do not kno w how to edit anything on here. Is there a tutorial? I feel silly.

Try adding the domain name into the search bar, i.e. foo.com - or come to our LiveChat and ask questions in real time! Once you figure out how to navigate around, it will be easier. We are working on a WikiAnatomy type tour. Best, MarkDilley

The instructions for updating thumbnails of websites says to "click 'queue thumbnail for update'", yet there is no link for that after typing in the domain. It just says the date it was updated. What is the correct way to update a thumbnail? Thanks in advance. Brihar73

so if somone completely delted the content in a wiki page, how do i revert back to an older version?

One of our people just caught and fixed the malicious attack. In the future, you can effectively fix this yourself.

• "Click the history tab"
• On this screen, click the date of a known good copy of the file. (You might have to click a bit, or you can use the "previous version" arrows towards the top of the article to navigate.)
• In a correct version of the article, click the "Edit" tab. (You'll get a warning message saying this is an out-of-date revision and that later revisions will be lost.)
• Click "Save" at the bottom of the page. This will replace the deleted version with the one you opened.

If you see a delete happen during work hours, it's best to let one of us know, so we can do our magic, which provides a more elegant way of undeleting (as well as helps us track malicious editors). But, in a pinch this way works great. -- TakKendrick

Hi again, We've had problems with the internet all morning today and we've only just managed to get back on line. I'm off to pick up my daughter from school now so I'm afraid we will have to meet tomorrow. Shall we say Thursday 9pm Portland time (Friday 9am Lahore time). Don't worry about the time confusion. If you don't mind, I'll jump in and answer this one: Fixing domain name capitalisation is very easy to do if you create a username for yourself.

After you create an account and log in, you'll start to notice the "Move" tab on pages. Have a look at FixName to read move about moving pages to their proper names. Nathan ^(talk) / 02:02, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
