Melih Oztalay ran one of the Detroit Metropolitan area’s premiere Internet Service Providers (ISP), SpeedLink, from the early 1990’s. As an Internet entrepreneur he quickly saw the value the Internet can bring to business. In those days he had to convince businesses to make a connection to the Internet. This was then followed by having to convince them to have a website. Continually staying in the frontlines of Internet technology he was persistent in his efforts.
He served for nearly a decade as President and CEO of SpeedLink Internet Solutions and its associated subsidiaries, a highly successful a corporate ISP in Pontiac, Michigan (among whose clients were the Jewish Federation, Palace of Auburn Hills, the Oakland Press, CART, and Wayne County Community College).
In the new century he has pursued taking the creative and marketing services from his experience in the 1990’s to businesses via SmartFinds Internet Marketing, an Internet Marketing Agency. SmartFinds uses the changes in the Internet since Google went public in 2004 to prepare strategic programs that help businesses reach their revenue objectives.
A much-sought-after consultant in the IT and Internet arenas, he served as Chairman of the Board Committee on Technology for the Roeper Country & Day School. His vast knowledge of the Internet includes website design, hosting, and performance evaluation gives his clients an expert’s edge using the Internet as a revenue generating business tool.

This excerpt from their website on this section of the business was interesting to read.
