I’m John Calday from the UK and I work as a search engineer. I hold 2 degrees in Electronic Engineering and it’s been a few years now since I crossed the line from being exclusively a user of the ‘net to getting involved in running websites and marketing them.

Everyday I spend a lot of time on the internet and come across websites that don’t even have the basics of SEO right. The internet is a fantastic platform for small businesses to compete on an equal footing with the big boys, if only they are willing to learn the basics, or can afford to spend money to hire someone to do it for them.

Offline, I enjoy reading, reading and reading and when it’s time to get some fresh air, I hop on my bike, the capricious weather permitting.
