Description
With a home town crowd in the stands, Allentown, PA driver Brian Seidel ran a flawless race to the capture the $2,000 first prize after winning the twenty-five lap URC Bar's Leaks/Advance Auto Parts feature event Saturday night at the Grandview Speedway. For Seidel, it was his second win of the season and twenty-first URC career victory. The racing program was sponsored by Zuber Realty and was the second race of the season for the Valley Forge INC Pennsylvania Sprint Series.
CnB Mushrooms posted a $50 bonus to the URC heat race and "B" Main feature winners. Heat race events were won by Brian Seidel, Brooke Bowman and Chris Coyle as Brook Weibley rallied home the winner of the "B" Main. A field of thirty-four URC sprint cars took part in the fifth event of the season.
In the Valley Forge INC URC sprint feature, Brian Seidel took the lead at the drop of the green flag with Curt Michael following in second. In just a few laps, Seidel had managed to build a comfortable lead over runner-up Curt Michael and Brooke Bowman. On lap five, Johnny Zimmerman spun in turn three displaying the first caution of the race.
