Traffic-Power.com

Title

Search Engine Optimization - Internet Marketing Tools

Traffic-Power.com was one of the fastest growing Internet marketing companies in the world. In mid 2005, it was discovered that they were practicing "Black Hat" SEO tactics, and due to the unethical practices, Google.com banned the entire portfolio of traffic-power clients - totaling close to 3000 ecommerce websites from their indexes. The resulting action sent traffic-power spiraling into huge financial losses, caused the failure of thousands of businesses and almost managed to wipe out the entire field of internet promotions. By summer of 2006, after traffic-power.com had unsuccessfully attempted, several times, to re-brand the company and distance itself from the soiled "Traffic-Power" image, the company was so burdened with debt and unable to escape from the tarnished image - re-located in the Middle East. Within three months of the re-location, authorities had raided the company head-quarters when it was discovered that they were selling SEO services, but not actually doing any of the work. Little was heard about Matt Marlon, CEO of Traffic-power.com, until in 2007, he was arrested in Las Vegas for Real Estate Embezzlement.
