In September (2010), The Senior List Eldercare Directory expanded it's reach to include The UK and Canada. The range of senior-care categories is vast, including; Assisted Living, Home Care, Home Health, Elder Law Attorneys, Funeral Services, Long Term Care Insurance, Money Management, Geriatric Care Managers, and more! The Senior List is consumer driven, and allows anyone to add and rate eldercare resources in the USA, Canada and UK. Ratings are publicly available in an effort to greater tranparency to consumers searching for locally recommended eldercare resources.
About the Founders
Amie Clark
The Senior List® Eldercare Directory was co-founded by Amie Clark, who attended the University of Montana's School of Social Work. She has always had a soft spot in her heart for seniors and helping them is her passion. She also owns and operates The Senior Resource Network, a Placement and Referral Agency located in Portland Oregon. Amie and her staff are passionate about matching up seniors with appropriate housing options. Her placement and referral agency provided early inspiration for the development of The Senior List®.
Chris Clark
Chris Clark, co-founder and CEO of The Senior List® has spent the last 18 years working in healthcare. He has held numerous executive positions in sales and marketing, and has worked with many of the top healthcare organizations across the country. He is passionate about consumer empowerment (by way of technology) and the leverage it provides to buyers AND sellers. Chris graduated from the University of Montana with a B.S. in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Marketing.

You can simply start by entering in a keyword (like assisted living or home care) and the location (cities, ST or Zip) that you want to search...it's that easy. There is also an advanced search tool so you can add additional details to your search criteria. The Senior List® is organized by various categories such as adult day care centers, assisted living, health care facilities, attorney law, and transportation services. The site offers information on each individual facility, stating the specific care they can offer to you, their contact information as well as consumer reports, which can assist in making an informed decision on which service to choose. The Senior List Blog is a comprehensive look at everything for the boomer or senior. The Blog is broken down into 4 main areas, including Company News, Health Matters, Aging in Place, and Caregivers Corner.
