This is just another typical about page about a not-so-typical girl. My Midwestern roots run deep: born in Ohio, raised in the Chicagoland area, schooled in Wisconsin, but now living in New York. I’m beautifully bipolar- my inner rebel fights daily against my conservative shell.
I’d always thought I wanted to be in Business when I grew up, but after a brief (2 ½ year) stint of floundering in Finance and learning the true meaning of depressed, I jumped ship and headed out east to learn Interior Design. Armed only with my street smarts, a legion of fabulous friends, and a bucket of art supplies I’m out to redesign the world one room at a time. And no, it’s not like fucking trading spaces.
In my free time I enjoy wandering the streets in search of tofu dogs, getting over priced manicures, starting copious projects that will never be finished, keeping up with celebrity gossip, cruising the internet until my eyes glaze over, buying sparkly things, trying on more clothes than I could ever afford, lingering over cocktails in dark smoky bars, and just generally trying to get the most out of life. I’m always looking for a perfect partner in crime as well.
