Non exhaustively and in no specific order: a tiny bit more freedom, quickly amalgamated with license, a fair amount of terrorism with apparent or plain impunity up to, sometimes, a complaisant and partisan coverage from the mainstream media [Action Directe, Corsicans under a specific and advantageous fiscal policy, Islamists with welfare backing, Eco-terrorists à la José Bové...] underhanded statism of the Mitterrand era and deliberate attacks against free trade by his followers and heirs, accompanied with an ever growing fiscal pressure and an irrational work time regulation (well thank you very much you unbeatable opportunist, too bad your scheme didn't pay back ah?) leading to an Oh-So impressive result, leftist erratic wandering, rise of the far right and left (totalitarian factions are all coming out of the same sewer), intellectual terrorism and moral values inversion by the Parisian and European nomenklatura on almost every significant issues in the society.
Liste non exhaustive et pas forcément chronologique : un poil plus de liberté que l'on assimile allègrement avec de la licence, pas mal de terrorisme en toute impunité et parfois même avec une couverture médiatique complaisante et partisane des média de masse [Action Directe, Corses sous régime fiscal spécial, Islamistes financés par les aides sociales, Eco-terroristes dans la mouvance Bové...] étatisme véreux de l'ère Mitterrand et attaques délibérées et répétées de ses héritiers contre la libre entreprise, assorties d'une fiscalité sans cesse alourdie et d'une réglementation irresponsable du temps de travail (merci beaucoup, stupide conne opportuniste) avec les résultats que l'on sait, dérive gauchiste, montée des extrêmes [droite et gauche - les totalitaires sortent tous du même chaudron] terrorisme intellectuel et inversion des valeurs de la part des «élites» parisiennes et européennes sur les faits de société déterminants.
Yes, France keeps cherishing its old demons, and is probably one of the last (if not the only) country in the democratic world to officially endorse the followers of the worst XXe century totalitarist ideologies.
