- Since I came onto the internet, I have always gone by the name Podz. The origins of the name are not important but that name is something I use in my day-to-day life. Officialdom uses my real name but apart from that I do not use it. Everyone calls me Podz. I do have a real name though - Mark. There seem to be many interesting namesakes on the net, but I certainly do not figure in even the top 100 hits there, if not more. Although I have this real name, I never answer to it. I will introduce myself as Podz and it’s about all I will answer to (’dad’ and ‘ Daaaaaaaaaad’ being two alternatives). There are genuine reasons why I do not use my real name where I can, but that discussion is not for here. But if you wanted a real name behind the words, you’ve got it.
