Description
Hello, please allow me to introduce myself, I am Douglas Peters... a freelance artist, designer and animator. Symbiotic Design™ is centered around my art and design skills. My best strengths are web site design, graphic design and logo design, but as you will find if you explore this site, I am capable of much more. I also love animation and game design. I do work with other freelancers on larger projects, if necessary. I wear many other hats, as well. I even provide technical support for the video lab at the University of Sioux Falls and other local area businesses.
My wife, Maria, helps me immensely and I could not manage without her. Maria has a unique musical talent and reaches children well. She has been teaching violin and music theory to students age 4 to 15 at the Music School in Olešnica, Poland, for the past 12 years. She and one of her talented students recently each brought home a national award to Olešnica. Her Masters degree may help her land a teaching position in this area, but she does plan to continue teaching the youth violin, viola and music theory through the private sector. Maria also heads the music department here at Symbiotic Design™.
Our Approach
Design is a creative problem, and we are creative problem solvers. Design is the treatment and juxtaposition of elements within a composition. Elements can be any combination of such things as logos, graphics, buttons, links, interactive scripts, or textual content. Where these elements are placed and how they are treated will not only contribute to the design of the web site, but to it's usability as well.
