Description
Switcheroo Zoo began online as a simple roadside attraction with nine switchable animals. Its popularity encouraged us to expand the zoo and add new features. As teachers began using the site in their classrooms, lesson plans were added along with examples of art and writing projects by students. The nickname "Switch Zoo" was coined to facilitate translation into other languages.
After launching Switch Zoo online, we developed and published Switch Zoo Deluxe, an expanded version of the zoo featuring 142 animal species, bigger images, a profile of every animal, and additional features including the Randomizer and My Switch Zoo.
