Description
This site was originally created by Elton Smith to feature praise songs by Gilberto Barreto. Gilberto and his wife Lilia lived in Plano Texas from 1995 to May 1997 and again in 1998. Their hometown is Campos in 'Rio de Janeiro' state in Brazil. You can visit Gilberto's new web site, Praise With Me. Here are a couple of photos.
Many of the songs on this site were written by collaboration between Steve Israel, Larry Holder and Elton Smith. Here is a picture of us taken in July of 2000. We live in different states, but got together for a worship conference.
Elton lives in Plano Texas with his wife Leslie, and their three children, Veronica, Hollis and Nathaniel. Elton works for EDS as an intranet developer. Leslie homeschools the children and provides encouragment. Here is a picture of our family taken in early 2000.
