Description
The St. John Ambulance National Instructor Certification Program ensures that instructors are selected, trained, and developed in accordance with high standards. Besides knowing the material they teach, our instructors know how to teach.
All of our instructors have first hand experience in health and safety related fields and bring a wealth of knowledge to the classroom with backgrounds that include: ambulance personnel, doctors, paramedics, nurses, firefighters, police, teachers, occupational health & safety personnel, and volunteers.
Candidates for the Instructor Certification Program must pass an intensive "Theoretical Threshold Exam" and a practical assessment to evaluate their proficiency in first aid theory, skills, and technique.
