Ann Wax has been a health care professional for over 30 years, as a Registered Nurse, health educator, medicaid facilitator, and geriatric care manager. After serving as a nurse at several major teaching hospitals, including the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, and Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, Ann taught psychiatric nursing as a clinical instructor for the Nassau County B.O.C.E.S.
