My inbox has been filling with notifications that Red vs Blue is currently the featured article on Wikipedia. We're following entries on the founder of Pakistan, the World Cup and an American Battleship. Welcome to Saturday, the day that the world's biggest open source encyclopedia officially ran out of stuff to cover. If you're coming from Wikipedia, you're going to hate this site. You're probably one of those people who thinks the internet should only be used for productive things. We respectfully disagree.
You can read through the whole article if you want, but I can sum it up for you -- we make machinima. And no, we don't know how to pronouce that word. Don't give us grief, "wiki" isn't a real word either and that's how you got here. Basically, machinima is the process of taking videogames and removing all that fancy "interactivity". We replace it with jokes about hating your friends and putting your penis in escrow. If you want a quick introduction, check our "Real Life vs The Internet" video. Then buy all our DVD's and t-shirts . That's pretty much the routine around here and I highly recommend it.
I Should Be in Pictures
Just wanted to give everybody a heads up and remind everyone that we will be attending A-Kon in Dallas this weekend. Joel (aka Caboose), Geoff (aka Grif), myself (aka Gus aka Simmons), and Kathleen (aka Tex) will all be there in attendance. We have a couple of panels there but the main Rooster Teeth panel is on Saturday from 2pm to 4pm in the "main hall". We will of course also have a booth set up selling some merchandise, including some exclusive merchandise not available through our online store.
