In 1997, my father and I were talking about putting together a website, since they were all the rage at the time. Dad said, "couldn't we sell hearing aid batteries on the net?" and I said, "yes". We already had a hearing aid business and were already selling a lot of batteries, so we just decided to put the batteries on the net. We don't sell hearing aids on the net because, in our practice we believe that your relationship with your hearing aid dispenser or audiologist is crucial to the success or your fitting. I can't provide the kind of service I believe is necessary when you can't come for regular check-ups. But I can provide you with high quality, fresh from the factory, hearing aid batteries and accessories to keep your hearing aids running. I can do this in a timely manner and at a considerable savings than anyone else. I provide the huge savings because of my buying power and low over head, and I pay for the shipping out of my pocket because I don't want anything to come between you and me that may prevent you from ordering from me. I realize you can go to the store and get batteries without a shipping cost (we wont even mention gas because you are probably already at the store for other things) so I'd like for you to think of me as a service that saves you money and ships your batteries usually the same day they are ordered.
