Poker hands were examined, cheats were barred from the online poker game, and players were reimbursed for legitimate grievances. Like any cardroom, virtual ones gained their players' trust through fair and honest dealing.
The biggest obstacle, it turned out, was getting the online poker games going at all. It's no good building an online cardroom and hoping they will come. You have to get the word out. But the proof was all around us. Poker was actually being played remotely. With a click of a button, you could raise a lady in London clear out of her seat! And it was working!
