Welcome to your personal page on AboutUs! My name is Ted, and I'd love to show you around a bit.
As an example, let's go to Patty Dawn's personal page. It's pretty similar to how yours looks at the moment. After I show you what's where, I'll show you some other examples of personal pages.
Patty's just getting started. See her name, where she lives, her email address, and links to domain pages she cares about. She can also add her portrait when she's ready.
And down here is where Patty can write about herself.
Over on the right are some links you might find useful.
Below that, we call these "WikiBoxes". The one on the left is for you to introduce yourself to the community if you like. Click "Introduce Yourself". Easy, huh?
The one on the right is for when any community member at AboutUs notices something interesting going on here, a cool new use of someone's personal page for example. Post those in that box.
Let's go back to the top and I'll show you our internal messaging system. Just click "talk page". In this case we're looking at Patty's inbox. If you want to leave a message for Patty, you click "add comment". She can then reply on your talk page. When you have a message there, your account box will turn yellow, like this.
Now I'll show you some examples of fancier personal pages.
