Strong needle ground points with a carefully shaped geometry for the sharpest point. For some ranges we have used our own "Flashpoint" technique to perfect the points.
Black is a very popular finish for most specimen hooks, although some of our hooks are still in the traditional bronze colour. Black Nickel is becoming more and more popular for many types of fishing. Our Grey Shadow hooks have a "Niflor" finish. Black Nickel is a relatively new coating on fish hooks. The black is quite shiny, and hooks coated with Black Nickel are chemically sharpened which gives an extremely sharp point.
