Description
The company is named after the building in which it is located. The building is an old hall that was simply call 'Oultwood'. The building consists of a hundred year old grand hall and a much older and simpler farmhouse. The 'grand' frontage of the hall was re-built in 1896 following a major fire.
The building is suitated in Oulton which is famous its stretch of water known as "Oulton Broad". It is not clear whether Oulton was named after Oultwood or the other way around.
Oultwood is internationally famous for its local government index which is generally regarded as the best index of its type. The index has now been running for nearly six years.
