Home Brands

It also launched The STAR Teacher Program which is exclusively for educationalists and school administrators. It also integrates the benefits of Office Depot Worklife Program. As an add-on to the Worklife benefits, the STAR program also carries discounts on purchase depending upon the item of purchase and the total bill. Apart from this, there are many happenings at the stores of Office Depot especially for the teachers, like the bi-annual Teacher Appreciation Breakfasts where teachers and educationalists are offered free breakfast and other giveaways. Another feather in the cap of Office Depot is its successful Back To School Program. Under this, a contribution of the total purchase goes to a local school as its store credit that can be used by the school to buy Office Depot merchandise. International

The customers of office Depot are spread in 42 countries throughout Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia, either through fully-owned entities or major-owned entities, or through any other ventures covering thirty four countries, and via alliances in another eight countries. The International Division is concerned with selling office products and services directly through mail catalogs, internet sites, contract sales forces, and retail stores. They offer catalogues in eleven countries outside North America. In June 2003, they expanded their contract business through acquisition of Guilbert, S.A. They have 125 stores in Japan, France, Israel, Israel and South Korea. The International Division has its regional headquarters in Europe/Middle East and Asia and is in the process of developing other regional headquarters for Latin America.
