ABOUT MXToolBox, Inc.
MXToolBox, Inc. launched its first email security services in 2003. The firm’s mission is to provide corporate clients with a diversified suite of messaging security services, ranging from spam filtering to email disaster recovery and monitoring. MX ToolBox was one of the first firms to take its managed security model directly to small and mid-sized businesses for their messaging environments. Larger companies had been early adopters of such models. Smaller companies, however, were unable to keep pace in adopting comparable IT solutions due to scale, cost, and overextended IT staffs. Regardless of company size, however, email has become fundamental to the support and enablement of key business practices. A recent study conducted by Quocirca Ltd. (www.quocirca.com) found that 50% of surveyed companies cited losing email for a week as a devastating or highly damaging event. What’s more, the study found that email protected from system failures, natural disasters and computer viruses is just as critical to companies with less than 250 employees as to those with over 5,000.
