- The Atlantic Winter Fair has operated since 1963 in different venues before establishing itself at Exhibition Park in Halifax. The Maritime Fall Fair Association was formed in December 1999 under the direction of Trade Centre Limited, The Atlantic Winter Fair became the Maritime Fall Fair and officially opened for the first time under the new name in October 2000.
