The upcoming year, 2010, will be a celebratory one for women in the USA. It is the 90th anniversary of the passage of Women's Suffrage. The Nineteenth Amendment to the US Constitution became law on August 26, 1920. 1910 is also the 90th anniversary of the founding of our chapter, the League of Women Voters of the Cincinnati Area. To mark the occasion, our 90th Anniversary Committee members, led by Mary Kay Gardner and Helen Rhoad, have planned quite a gala for Saturday, February 27.
