Junior Jyotish and Jyotish To Go use the True Nodes (Rahu and Ketu). This is because primarly support the System's Approach which uses the True Nodes. Jyotish Tools for the the Pocket PC allows a choice of either Mean or True node. The Mean Node is a very simple calculation and up until around the 1970's that was the only calculation found in astrological Ephemerises. The Nodes show where the Moon and Sun will intersect during an eclipse. The problem with the Mean Node is that most of the time that calculation is off at the time of an eclipse where as the it accurate with a True Node.
