As well as running an outstanding Internet Bookstore, Susan is certified in Illinois to teach high school science, and is a Registered Nurse. She authors most of the reviews on-line. She is also the voice on the phone. Together with Joel, she has a personal library of 3,500 books, many of them children's fiction. Her favorite pasttimes include tracking down out-of-print editions of her favorite authors such as Jane Louise Curry, Hugh Lofting and the Oz books by L. Frank Baum and others. More recent favorites include Garth Nix's books.
Joel is the author of the catalog and BookBag software you see here, and any sarcasm on any page is his fault. His favorite books from childhood include A Wrinkle in Time by Madeline L'Engle and The Dark is Rising by Susan Cooper. More recent favorites include Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy.
