We have a community of 1.7 million Indo-Americans in USA and it is one of the best educated and most affluent Asian American communities. We have achieved economic success but when it comes to political participation, we remain one of the least politically active minority groups in America even though we have the resources to make our voice heard and to promote those issues that are important to us. We, as a community, should be able to deliver the vote in meaningful way by promising candidates a certain bloc of votes. That way we can make a congressman win or lose and pay attention to the issues concerning us. Here, we will keep you informed of the upcoming legislations in congress. When issues of concern come up for congressional consideration, we will send out 'action alert' to Indo-Americans members throughout the nation so we can write to our congressman with single click of a button.
The purpose of this website is to create online resources to bring all Indo-Americans together and talk in one voice. In the coming months, we will keep on improving and adding advanced features using modern Internet tools. Your comments are always welcome. Please e-mail Amit
