Description

Too often on this site we condemn those within the Islamic world that praise or accept radical Islamic terrorism and some who even call for jihad against whom they perceive as the enemy. That’s why I personally try to post upon the opposite vantage point from Islamic groups when I see one.

The death of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was met with three different reactions throughout the world. There were those that celebrated his death because it’s good that one of the top terrorists in the world is no dead. There were those that condemned the United States for killing Zarqawi claiming either Zarqawi was a mythical figure of overblown importance or because he was not served a warrant by the local constable known as the U.S. Marines and afforded a trial. Then there were those that celebrated Zarqawi’s ‘martyrdom’ and his marriage of the 72 virgins in Heaven which includes his family (though honestly I don’t know what reaction a family could have knowing a loved one was just killed even with how many innocents that family member murdered).

Four Jordanian MPs attended the Ahmed Fadhil Nazzal al-Khalayleh (Zarqawi’s birth given name) memorial held by the al-Khlayeh family and spoke wonders of Zarqawi’s ascension into heaven. They have been arrested as the royal family of Jordan is showing they have no patience for those that condone terrorism, or at least partially but that’s a topic for a later day.
