Host department has the worst service I have found online their servers are down every time, they feed you with promises and more lieas that they never fulfill. IN my experience with hos department I wasted my time and money and efforts. Also I am not sure how they offer this UNLIMITED thing when they can not even keep up an average size website. bad bad
Bunch of scamming thieves!!!
- The absolute worst service ever. They have gotten steadily worse. Lately, I have had support tickets go unanswered for weeks, their live chat is always offline, and the only phone extension they answer is sales. My websites are down more often than they are up, they are constantly changing configurations that break things and create weird glitches, email is completely unreliable, and no one ever seems to have any clue what's going on. Oh, and all of my sites and my clients sites have been infected by viruses. Stay away from these frauds!

The top notch Hosting Company
- I've been with Host Department for a little while now. So far i have experience top notch support with excellent professionalism by Host Department. They also own and control their own data center. They are the best Hosting Company i have come across in a while. They have won awards for their great service. Try them out, you will not be disappointed. Great job Host Department.

Host Department is my favorite
- I initially thought that Host Department have the right mix - great price, stable hosting. Soon I've learned the reality that even when I've had the opportunity to try many hosts for our clients..but there's no company as good as Host Department. This company is absolutely the best I have used. While they have on line tech support chat, the chat "techs" seem capable of correcting even the worses problem and they always available for me. As if Host Department hosting plans weren't good enough, you also get many of great features.

Run - Don't Walk FROM Host Department
- This Host is the absolute worst i have ever had.
I have had nothing but trouble with Downtime, file permissions, emails that bounce or get "stuck in the que" and vanish, outgoing mail servers that won't work with your domain name. The 24/7 support is not 24/7. 2 days ago, the tech support chat was offline as it has been before and the phones go to voicemail. The myphp login page has MORE THAN ONCE magically replaced my website homepage. Domains that don't show up once added, url redirects that don't work.... i could go on for hours. It is almost a daily occurrance that i have to contact tech support about something.
The one thing they have going for them is the price. But as i am reminded that if you buy cheap, that's what you get.

The Most Friendly Host
- I really don't see what the fuss is. I've been with Host Department for several years now. My experience is very good with them. The support has been very nice and friendly, they've also always solved my hosting problem - whenever I contacted them, I've most always talked to someone who has helped. For now I'm staying with them. In fact, since my last post I give them a higher rating now. I still say it's simply very hard to beat Host Department.

Host Department is the best, in my opinion!
- I'm using it a year and enjoying every moment. By the way, someone told here that they have a bad support and that isn't true – The support is GREAT. They are also have big storage, big bandwidth, an excellent control panel, etc. It's very recommended.

What a good service of Host Department!
- I have been using Host Department for about a year now and they are the best I've tried. I didn't have an issue with payment,because their automatic payment system is really works on me. Host Department support guys are responded quickly to my irate complaints and helped me get it through all of my hosting problems.

Stay Away from Hostdepartment.com
- I've been making the web hosting review rounds to let the public know that Hostdepartment.com is a pack of thieves. I have bought a Reseller hosting plan with them in November and I never received the necessary information to put up my site, slow server, poor performance. All attempts to contact them via email failed. live chat is totally fake, I even tried opening a support ticket only discover that their support application was failing. I was never able to open a ticket.
From the first day I have got many problems, they offer live chat software they offer no limit disk space but actually all offers are fake. These guys are really REALLY bad and they don’t want to refund my funds approx $549.45 even I lost my very valuable clients.
I also register my complaint BBB.org and Based on BBB files, this company has an unsatisfactory record with the Bureau due to unanswered complaint(s). Two requests for basic information have been sent to this company but to date the Bureau has received no

Premium Plan... Poor Host
- After four years of having Hostdepartment.com host several of our client domains, enough is enough. I have been on their Premium 5000 plan and now trying to move all of my customers off of their sub-standard performance. The quality of hosting has diminished as the weeks go by. They are not in a hurry to get much resolved, other than collecting their money. The data transfer speeds have not been impressive the last two years, their tech support is outsourced, and they rebuild the server hard drives frequently. Our high school football sites were down several of the Fall and Winter weekends... when they needed to be online at the peak of traffic. Good luck trying to get them to respond to email requests.
I've also had to resort to registering a complaint with BBB.org to get them to unlock and provide transfer away codes, which I still don't have to get client domains off of their server. By the way, have been embarrassed by the unstable service and have lost seven clients in the last year - cause... their sites being down and not accessible. I would not recommend using their hosting services AT ALL!
