There are more than 430 Hooters locations in 28 countries. Of those, 160 are owned by Hooters of America, LLC, and the rest are Hooters franchises.
The first Hooters opened in 1983 in Clearwater, Florida, and the Hooters concept hasn't changed much. The current logo, uniform, menu and ambiance are all very similar to what existed in the original store.
Hooters locations are casual beach-themed restaurants featuring music, sports on large TVs, its well-known server uniform, and a menu with seafood, sandwiches, burgers, salads, and Hooters original chicken wings.
