About hermit.org
is a non-profit organisation, owned and operated by me, Ian Cameron Smith. It's basically a forum for anything that takes my fancy: my own interests, friends' stuff... whatever.
The biggest feature here is undoubtedly Judith proctor's Blake's 7 site; the main thing created by me is the Hermit Eclipse site. My own main interest now is sailing my new boat, Moonrise; so all of my effort is on that site. More information about me is in the Captain's Corner.
New Server!
As of 18 March 2002, hermit.org is on a dedicated server (actually shared with some friends). It may seem that I'm a stress freak addicted to moving his web site around at every opportunity; actually, it's because I've yet to find a web provider that's any use. The latest move was provoked by jumpline.com basically going into total meltdown. Hopefully having a dedicated machine will help.
