Hertie School of Governance
The Hertie School of Governance (HSoG) educates young, top-qualified students for public leadership positions. The School offers a two-year programme leading to the academic degree Master of Public Policy (MPP).
Apart from the MPP programme, the HSoG offers a practice-orientated education programme for young executives. It gives those already participating in decision-making processes the possibility to enhance their work through the know-how and research at the Hertie School of Governance. The HSoG also presents its research to the broader public via lectures, forums, symposia and other events.
The scientific approach of the HSoG is multidisciplinary, international and practice-orientated in all fields. For this purpose, the School co-operates with partner universities, institutions and decision-makers all over the world. The faculty is composed of national and international scientists who also benefit from the knowledge of adjunct professors coming from different disciplines. For questions regarding special fields of knowledge or special research themes, please contact the respective members of the faculty.
