Welcome to the Georgia Water Planning & Policy Center

Description

Through the Georgia Research Alliance the Georgia Water Planning and Policy Center (GWPPC) was formed in 1999. The center is comprised of a three-university consortium of Georgia State, Albany State, and Georgia Southern universities. The consortium provides the institutional framework and academic expertise to proactively address the state’s water policy issues on a regional basis. The program stresses the use of applied policy sciences through the expertise of faculty from various disciplines in law, economics, public policy & administration, and related decision sciences. The consortium’s centers are: North Georgia Metropolitan Water Planning & Policy Center, Georgia State University; Flint River Water Planning & Policy Center, Albany State University; Coastal Rivers Water Planning & Policy Center, Georgia Southern University.
