G Mackinlay & Co. Gun Makers is a traditional Scottish gunmaking firm established in 2002 by its current owner, Graham D W Mackinlay who served his apprenticeship in the gunmaking capital of Edinburgh, before setting up on his own in Glasgow as Glasgow Gunmakers in 1988.
Specialising in buying, selling and repairing British shotguns & rifles our restoration service is second to none. We trade on our reputation and are very aware that attention to detail and personal service are imperative in this global marketplace.
We are also distributors of French walnut blanks and personally go to France to handpick the very best of what is becoming a difficult commodity to acquire.
