GigaLaw.com was founded by Doug Isenberg, an attorney, who serves as the website's editor and publisher. He is also a domain name panelist for the World Intellectual Property Organization.

PC World, April 2004: In an article headlined, "Beyond Google," PC World lists GigaLaw.com as one of the "best data resources on the Web." The magazine writes: "GigaLaw.com provides tidy, up-to-date, and comprehensive essays on many legal topics written by attorneys practicing in the specific relevant fields. Running a keyword search on this site often produces good analyses of recent or proposed law changes as well."
