Generation Stars also known as "GS Team" was originally founded in Rijeka, Croatia in the year 2005. Founders were Edi Budimilic, Goran Duskic, Nikola Jovanovic, Dino Budimilic and Ivana Kocic. As a team the first time we gathered was in 1999 under the name “Allstars”. In the year 2001 we decided to change the name into Generation Stars and to work as an Independent game developer team. Generation Stars now counts 7 team members and 5+ associates.
For the past years Generation Stars has been developing games and made over 15 small Freeware arcade games and 2 shareware games. Most popular like “Raklem”, “GS Inspector” and “Caveship” made their mark on numerous web sites and game portals. Some of those games reached tens of thousands of downloads. Our team and our games have been mentioned in all domestic and some foreign computer magazines plus a mark made in many domestic newspapers which are “Novi List”, “Nedjeljnji Vjesnik”, “Jutarnji List” and “Vecernji List”. When it comes to magazines, it were: “Hacker”, “PC Play”, “PC Chip”, “Bug” and “Enter”. Dino Budimilic, one of our team members, won on “State Championship in Software” in the year 2005 with a game “GS Inspector”.
Games made by Generation Stars are most likely to be small 2D arcade games, office or board games. 2005 is the year when GS Team made their first steps in shareware industry so they made an exception in their making of games and made a "platformer kind of game" game called "Gink in Trouble". This and all games that are yet to be developed have a difficult task, to create a brand Generation Stars.
