fullhyd is the result of the one of the most massive and the best co-ordinated initiatives to put Hyderabad in a never-before-never-after manner on the Net. What started as a dream in June 1999 born in one Hyderabadi's head and funded by another saw the coming together of some of the most talented people in town, who spent over 18,000 man-hours of effort in creating one of the globe's best city coverages.
The team that contributed to this effort has people of age 17 to 67, based in two continents, interested in things ranging from playing the guitar and practising classical dance to coding in PHP and teaching industrial psychology, with degrees from places as diverse as the JNTU College of Fine Arts and NID Ahmedabad to IIT Madras, IISc Bangalore and IIM Calcutta, and with experience in places as disparate as Ericsson, ICICI, TCS, the Indian Express, D E Shaw, The Hindu and the Deccan Chronicle.
