Macrotec Machine Tools Ltd is a family-run company with nearly 50 years experience in CNC sales and service based in Congleton, Cheshire in the UK. Findamachine.com is a joint venture between a team of computer experts and the staff at Macrotec Machine Tools Ltd.
The idea for the project grew out of frustration in searching the web for used machines following specific enquiries from customers. Richard Moss of Macrotec and a team of web designers created a search system that automatically matches machines wanted and machines for sale. The system includes 'on patrol' a truly unique feature of the site, which scans all newly entered machines for sale and wanted for matches and alerts the user when a match is found.
Mainly it’s the time factor. Once you have entered your requirements and clicked the 'on patrol' button, you can get on with something else. You know the site will contact you, when machines matching your criteria, are added to the site. And it’s free!
