Founded in Luxembourg in 1997 by Managing Director Nick Prag, the site is managed and owned by EUbusiness Ltd in the United Kingdom. Its team of journalists provide daily-updated news and information about EU policy, legislation, economic data and opportunities to a fast-growing membership of over 65,000, of which more than 50,000 receive the weekly newsletter EUbusiness Week.
In April 2005 EUbusiness entered into partnership with business publisher Crimson Business . Crimson Business seeks to inspire and inform owners and directors of the UK's smaller and mid-sized businesses through magazines, websites, customer media and events which help business people to improve their company.
On the EUbusiness Board are Michael Ter-Berg, Chief Executive of Medic2Medic, and until recently Director of Development at DMG Information, part of the Daily Mail Group, investors in, & managers of, high growth international companies; and Derek Prag, Honorary Member of the European Parliament, MEP for Hertfordshire from 1979 to 1994, and former Head of the European Commission's London office.
