EPFL has more than 250 laboratories whose research places the School among the world's most productive scientific institutions. The School encourages transdisciplinary research and education. The transfer of research results and new technology is also one of EPFL's top priorities. An incubator, coaching services, entrepreneurship study programs and innovation programs stimulate links between EPFL laboratories and business. The Science park is home to more than 100 businesses. The EPFL campus is a dynamic environment of intellectual exchange. Over a hundred nationalities are represented on campus and 50% of our professors come from abroad.
