Bio: We're Em & Lo, more formally known as Emma Taylor and Lorelei Sharkey, the self-proclaimed Emily Posts of the modern bedroom. We've co-authored two books so far: The Big Bang: Nerve's Guide to the New Sexual Universe (Plume '03 in the US; Hodder '04 in the UK) and Sex Etiquette for Ladies and Gentlemen (Plume '04/Hodder '05)...see the reviews below. We've contributed to the anthology Sex and Sensibility: 28 True Romances from the Lives of Single Women (Washington Square Press '05) and the giftbook Position of the Day (Chronicle '03) And more books are on the way! We have contributed to numerous publications, including Glamour, Cosmo, GQ, New York, the Boston Globe, ReadyMade, Men's Health and, in the UK, the Times, the Observer, the Financial Times and British GQ. After four years as Nerve.com's resident advice gurus and "astrologists," we now dish about all things love-, sex- and star-related here on our own website (though if anyone would like to adopt us...). We've also written a column debunking sex myths for the Guardian (UK) and another dispensing sex advice for Men's Journal. We both live in New York City, where we spend far too much time together. We've only had one fight.
